AMIN 2nd Workshop in Cambodia was held

AMIN Promotion Committee held 2nd workshop in Cambodia from December 24 to 28. With financially support by Nippon Foundation, this project aims to establish networks among blind masseur in Asian countries, and to help their massage skills improve with old-line Japanese educational system and IT skills. The members from our university for this workshop were Prof. Katai, Prof. Sakai, Mr. Onose, Mr. Saito and Ms. Sakurada. Also from BMIN, we had Mr. Muto from Ibaraki Prefectural School for the Blind and Mr. Kitajima from Nara Prefectural School for the Blind joined with us. BMIN stands for Bank for AMIN, which means the bank of human resources for instructors of medical massage in Asia. It was the 2nd workshop held in Cambodia. Following lectures have given under the theme of "Anma treatment for cervicobrachial disorders";

  1. Anatomy, Physiology and Relative Disorders of Neck (Prof. Sakai)
  2. Basic Treatment of Neck, Shoulder and Upper limb (Mr. Muto)
  3. Advanced Clinical Treatment of Neck, Shoulder and Upper limb (Mr. Kitajima)

There were too many questions from the high motivated students to finish in time. All students received the certification in closing session. The picture shows Mr. Kitajima from Nara Prefectural School for the blind who is having massaged to evaluate the practical skills of the students.

The BMIN conference on the 1st was held by the private school hall Arcadia of Tokyo Ichigaya on Saturday, July 21.It is abbreviation of "Dispatch instructor talent bank to foreign countries" for Asian medical treatment massage leader network (AMIN) creation business that is centered health science part BMIN Course of Acupuncture and Moxibustion, receives the support of The Nippon Foundation, and develops. A bank registration member near from 20 person whole country gathered in the conference, and the rule and the business scheme, etc. were discussed. The experience as member's abundant massage technical guidance people is to become a vital resource in leading the business to the success.

Practice scenery in Laos

The 1st AMIN overseas course was held in Laos and Cambodia.Raopuraza hotel was done in the schedule on the 10th and March 11th and the lecture and the practice of the massage were done to the hall in Laos. Ten participants who aimed at the massage leader had ardently received guidance from the lecturer.The Cambodian blind society was done in the schedule on the 13th and March 14th and the lecture and the practice of the massage were done to the hall in Cambodia.Participant's massage capability changed a first content of the curriculum high, and became the course of an advanced, practicing content. The course holding a long term is demanded from the participant of the two countries in addition, and the medical treatment massage is paid to attention as a means of the occupation independence of the visually handicapped person in Asia. The photograph is an appearance of the practice guidance in Laos.
